This painting is my first acrylic floral piece in this style. The painting itself means a lot to me because it is a moment in time when I decided to really hone in on a series of floral paintings in a way I've been approaching my watercolor artwork, that is, more stylized and whimsical. In this painting I wanted to evoke a tropical feeling, where exotic fronds and blooms fill the space with an enchanted island peace.
